It gives me great pleasure, pride and honour to introduce you to the website of the Indian Body Builders Federation. I feel extremely humble in stating that my colleagues have taken this initiative of forming this federation under my leadership as they are of the view that the sport of body building would be best understood by an International Body Builder like myself.

I once again take great pride in stating that I have done my country proud by bringing home the Mr. Universe title in the year 1988. I have also been bestowed upon with the prestigious Padamshri Award and the Arjun Award. Furthermore I have also the credit of being Mr.Asia eight times and Mr.India nine times. I would also like to introduce the readers of this website to a very important person who forms the core committee of our federation and that is Mr.Chetan Pathare. I must say that this man has put in a lot of hard work to promote the sport of bodybuilding to what it is today. This Federation and this Website would not be possible if we would not have had Mr.Chetan Pathare’s support.

Hence, I take this chance of calling upon all the young men in our country who dream to be national and international body builders to come join us to make body building a sport that our country will one day worship. The promise we make in return is that at anytime anyone needs our support as where this sport is concerned we assure you that this is where your search ends. We are looking out for another Premchand Degra who will once again make our country proud by bringing home the Mr.Universe and many other international titles, because as we said before the field of body building is such that once you’re in theres no turning back!!
